LIGHT FOLDERS : BF1 - BF2 - BF3

These are very basic light knives, they are easy to carry and extremely versatile. Their function is guaranteed by a blocking system of tried and tested reliability. The dimensions allow for it to be carried both easily and discreetly. The larger versions comprise an extra safety catch to stop the blade from being closed accidentally.

BF1
This series of extremely compact folding knives is the result of interaction between Extrema Ratio and the military and police with whom we collaborate.

The intention was to create a folding knife for everyday use, simple, essential and functional.
The basic folding knife: the BF1 (Basic Folder n°1).
There are two blade patterns: Tanto and Drop; and two patterns of handles: Classic and Tactical.
All the blades are burnished through zirconium carbonitruration, the handles are burnished through anodization. The blades have flat grindings and the points are especially thick and resistant (a characteristic peculiar to this series).

The "Tactical" handles are characterised by a milled design of concentric circles with perforations for lightness and high grip.
The "Classic" handle is full with the characteristic lowered flat zone to enable the use of the opening "pin" without emerging from the profile of the closed knife. The clip is another innovation, it is reversible, positioned on the back of the blade and hugging the tang of the knife so that when the knife is inserted in a pocket the tang does not stick out and only the clip is visible. The blocking mechanism is the approved "liner lock".

BF2

This series of "full size" folding knives are suitable for professional use by the military or police.

The handle is solid and comfortable, the clip is reversible and close, in the case of the BF1 e BF2, it becomes a useful and comfortable resting point for the thumb in "reverse grip".
There are two blade patterns: Tanto and Drop; and two patterns of handle: Classic and Tactical.

The "Classic" handle is full with the characteristic lowered flat zone to enable the use of the opening "pin" without emerging from the profile of the closed knife. All the blades are burnished through zirconium carbonitruration, the handles are burnished through anodization.
The blade blocking mechanism is the approved "liner lock", assisted by a manually activated security mechanism protected by a "carter".

There are two special short bladed versions. For those who prefer a compact blade on a full size handle there is the BF2TTS "WARDOG" with a tanto blade on tactical handles and the BF2CDS "PITBULL" with a drop blade on classic handles.

BF3 "Dark Talon"

The common features of the "Basic Folder" series, including the BF1 and BF2, are lightness, simplicity and ease of carry.
BF1 e BF2 are utility knives, the BF3 is both a utility and a combat knife. The blade is sharp and piercing, the carry (where legally allowed) is sufficiently comfortable. The “bridge like” clip and a long enough pocket will properly conceal the knife. Slim and essential.
