These knives include a handle which is long enough to guarantee a firm grip without impeding the dynamic change from a "sabre" grip to a "reverse" grip. The handle must allow the user to perceive the direction of the cutting edge of the blade, even in the dark.

The double edged blade permits cutting blows even in the "return" movement. Hilt guards are reduced to the minimum to avoid entangling in close combat.

The centre of gravity is towards the handle. These knives allow for maximum penetration and maximum cutting capacity. Metal tang for inflicting backhand strokes, applying pressure or effecting controlled lesions. Non-reflective finish.
